The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) Sheikh (...) Sidi Muhammad bin Yusuf Al-Senussi Al-Hasani (...) was asked about verses for the people of knowledge, which are these: Purify yourself with the water of the unseen if you have a secret *** Otherwise, perform tayammum with the earth and the rock. And you were an imam in front of him *** He prayed the dawn prayer at the beginning of the afternoon. This is the prayer of those who know their Lord *** If you are one of them, then sprinkle the land with the sea. So he answered, may God Almighty have mercy on him (...).
The end of the manuscript: If its surface is sprinkled with the water of the seas of monotheistic truths, its virtues will be perfected and its deeds will be upright for the one who knows, and God Almighty grants success. The explanation of this knowledgeable master of the mystical verses has ended (...) You are the Hearer, the Close, the Answerer.
