Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Al-Sheikh, the late Abi Al-Abbas [Ahmad] bin Ismail bin Ali Al-Umawi, known as Ibn Al-Naqqash (...) said: Praise be to God, the Creator of the Breeze, the Destiner of powers and oaths, who taught with the pen and the creation of man and taught him what no one knew, so he remained steadfast (...) and after (...) and that the Imam Mahdi, may God be pleased with him, was the one who was firm on this character and the continuation of the word of truth by making the path easy for people. Reasoning and the creation of classifications of beliefs in order to remove their ambiguity and clarify the problems, and every people came in their language and every sect through its door, until I saw it as a belief in the Berber and Samoudi tongue (...) and since, among other things, it was put in place to approximate the understanding of the common people and to make it easier for all, the well-ordered doctrine, the good speech, linked to the prescribed meaning, the guide (...) to its memorization and reading by the group of the poor, righteous, and good people who gathered in Tlemcen, guarded by their sheikh and their young role model.
