Praise be to God alone, our lover, and in return for our beloved, the dearest, the leader, the happiest, the highest, the treasury of secrets, Sidi Idris, may God protect you, may God’s peace be upon you, and may God’s mercy be upon you for the best of our master, may God support him. He gives it to them with the direction, and a friend stands and says to our friend, “There is nothing left except the handful of the storeroom, by God.” Your thoughts are with us, for God is in the hand of our master, may God grant him victory.
