Notes Praise be to God alone. May God’s blessings be upon our Master Muhammad, his family, and his companions, our Master and our scholar. Blessings for the earthly life and successor to our Lord, may God grant him victory, the jurist Al-Ahda, the Pasha, Sidi Muhammad bin Talib. May God preserve your blessings for us and prolong your end for us. Peace be upon you, and the mercy of God Almighty, and his blessings in the presence of our Lord, may God support him and grant him victory. And after we have received your dearest letter informing of the obedient matter, may God exalt his status that was addressed to the Pasha, the leader, Al-Jilani. Ben Laroussi to discharge the prisoner, Al-Ghamari. The honorable order to this effect was received, and the prisoner was discharged and returned to his place, safe and sound as he was before his imprisonment, even though he had only entered the prison for committing false acts that led to the loss of the treasury. However, we will not be able to do so unless we inform you of it. May God make it easy for us to collect five thousand mithqals of the debt owed by the tanners to the high side of God. What is required of your sovereignty is to consult with us. Our Lord, may God bless him, for putting it in the hands of the trustees of this holy city. Otherwise, where did he appear? Then it is no secret to you, Your Excellency, the work I am in and the trouble of Al-Zhaawi with these teachers in collecting what they have, and we have been exhausted with them, so God is merciful to His Lord, because they had asked themselves to be satisfied with all of this, according to what our Lord has achieved, may God help him with that, and I have been lost in myself and my children, and the time is intense with the abundance of statements, and the hand is empty, and for that, we love you, sir. Our Lord, may God bless him and grant him peace, has consulted on us to look at us with mercy and forbearance to help us in the time with his kindness. Either he will make enough for our own or for a loan that we will put under my hand for livelihood, because I have grown children and they are of the utmost acumen, mind, and skill, and I wanted them to go into business to help us in our affairs. Therefore, the thought of our Lord is beautiful. May God continue his presence for a while, and we have entered under your shade and happiness. May God keep you in the utmost contentment and honor. Amen and will not hide you for a while. We came for the service for five months, and I made two people, as usual, who tended to come and were not assigned a wage, but they failed in our hands and looking at you and our Lord, may God bless him and grant him peace, on the 12th of Shaban Al-Abrak in the year 1274. Abdul Majeed Bennis, may God bless him, Amen.
