Notes Praise be to God alone, and only His face lasts. May God’s blessings be upon the one after whom there is no prophet or intercessor. May God support your times and honor you with victory, and Al-Mu’ayyad Al-Mansoura, the exalted, pure, pure, Al-Mutahhari, the happy, our master, the jurist, the clouded, the learned scholar, Sidi Idris, in front of us, the minister, our Maulana Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman, the late pardoner of God, Glory be to Him, the successor of God in his land, the ruler of what God has revealed, the one who knows the meeting with God on the Day of Resurrection, may God bless Good evening, peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you, in the presence of our Lord, may God support him. As for what follows, sir, we fled for God and for you, and entered the sanctuary of God and for you, then we complained to God and for you, and we cried for God, and for you to accept our crying and supplication for the sake of God Almighty. And now, sir, we are from God and from you. Then, it is your great favor that you leave any judgment on Bin Saeed Al-Ammari, and we have tried him in the past, and our men exposed a man our homes and our poor, and with you our quarries, and our notables departed. And our souls are following him, my lord. Who will let us hear the news? He has come to judge us with his harsh, hateful, unjust judgements. We have forgotten all our work. You have made us an orphan through strife and crying, so that we cannot eat, drink, or do any work from the work of this world and the hereafter. Now to our master, here we are, we have sent you our card so that you may have pity on our condition, look between us, and inform you of all our conditions and judge over us according to what God has revealed. Who among us is a believer who lives in his faith, and who is an immoral person, you will judge. In it, you are in your hand, blessed with what God has revealed, and know, O our master, for we have fled to you so that you may judge us with your hand and your good judgment and leave for us the rule of corruption, according to His saying, “Come on, reform, and do not follow my corrupt master.” And God Almighty said, “And God does not like corruption.” We have rejoiced since the day we entered under your hand and you took us out of the hand of deception, and we were enlightened by what you did to us, whether good or evil, and you defeated our ungodly ones and appeared to be believers. From Satan, the man, and say: Truth has come and falsehood has perished. Indeed, falsehood has vanished and you have brought us out of darkness into light. And now, my lord, if you cast us out of your mind and cast us into the hands of one who does not know truth from falsehood, then our sin, and you, our children, our quarries, our children, and our boys, is upon you until we are in the hands of God Almighty on the day when neither wealth nor children will benefit except from God with a sound heart after you heard his saying, “Then Exalted, so judge between the people with truth and do not follow desires until now, our master, if that is what you want, hope for us in the hand of God Almighty.” The ascetic sent us back into the hands of the equal. If you accept our supplication and weeping and make us the caliph, then may God reward you on our behalf and on the Muslims with goodness. And peace be upon the entire group of Banu Maraz in particular and in general.
