Praise be to God alone And may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad and his family, the servant of the high station in God, the jurist, the baraka, the ruler of the rulers, Sir Idris al-Sarraj, may God help you, encourage you, and protect you from every calamity. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you for the good of our master, may God grant him victory and grant us and you and the marketers his presence and grace, Amen. And after, sir, your letter was sent to us before today regarding the plundering of olives, and you were unable to answer until the masters of sight presented it, so its presence is safe. As for safety, do not listen to the words of others, and God knows best who is pious. And on Thursday, they presented with us the servants, and we separated with them, so there is no reckoning, as is the custom, in that is the good of everyone. Today, if great corruption remains on the earth, we love you, sir, grant us permission to gather it with its bearer, and keep it well for us and for the Muslims. As for Zaytoun bin Awdah, we love you. We inform his family about him, or they give permission to whomever informs him of a little or a lot. We are resolute. We do not ask for safety for you and for us. We do not enter anyone’s markets. Your service, love and peace Thankful for your kindness, Muhammad bin Idris Al-Khanduqi, may God grant him peace
