Notes Praise be to God, after performing what is necessary for the knowledge of the status of our master, may God protect him, and peace be upon his sovereignty, and may God have mercy on the presence of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And after that, the one mentioned in his honor was found last Friday selling sheep, so he reported this outside Bab al-Futuh. So whoever found him in his situation brought him to us, so we arrested him and picked up the sheep until the calamity was resolved. Then, Idris bin al-Arabi al-Salawi responded, complaining that the sheep were his and that they had been cut off from their owner and taken from his hand. With the rain in the hand of the man of the morning and the days, when we settled the kili, he said that he bought it from a Sajai man called Ibn Sulaiman, who resided in the dynasty of Moulay Yacoub, and the purpose of ours in the calamity is what was written in the drawing with two justices that connect to our master. Likewise, the kili that was seized in his hand is the sheep and its wings are imprisoned for our master. Your Excellency is looking forward to the service and peace on the 5th Hajj in the year 1284. Idris al-Sarraj Muhammad Ibn Rahil al-Kili, praise be to God. Only the servant of our earthly master, Commander Idris al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. After we looked at what you mentioned about him and the drawing referred to, we commissioned Commander Bushti bin al-Baghdadi to bring Al-Saja’i, the man named in the aforementioned drawing, and to arrest him. Peace be upon him in history. Ahmad, may God grant him success, Amen.
