Praise be to God alone. May God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad, his family, and his companions. May God’s peace and blessings be upon you, the earthly jurist, the best, and the most righteous, Sir Idris al-Sarraj. May God continue to exist and benefit you. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you for the best of our Lord. May God grant him victory. We have reached the Most Mighty of your letter, commanding us to shorten and forbid what you have now engaged in, seeking corruption and what does not concern me, and what we were in with you of honesty and righteousness. We have removed it from it and replaced it with what proves and helps us. We know that from your advice to us out of your love for us, but by God, who knows the unseen and the witnessed, I did not do what you have heard of the sayings on our side, neither what he said nor what was good, nor absent with Shalah, nor jealousy for an evil matter, nor did I permit the harm of Zarhouni, whether it was in the way of a market or any other, nor did I seek corruption, nor am I one of its people, nor did I agree to an evil thing, nor do we approve of it to anyone, nor the Zahranah, nor, in my opinion, is anyone better than a choice. The barbarians are against the dog of the Zarhanah, and if what I said is a lie on my part and a deception, then I am out of the four schools of thought and note in Islam, and by God whose name there is no glory. Had there not been a lot of barley among us, there would have been a great affliction, but we would have said, “You are in existence. May God honor you, and our master, the supporter of God, will fail you.” We ate anyone’s enjoyment in that matter, neither ugly nor good, nor did we write to you with a pause until eight days had passed and I was still besieged by the shepherds of the sheep with me because, until now, for fear of the crucible of obsession with their Lord, and we have learned from much of our gossip and a lot of research into the gossip that you have received from us in others and from others in us, and do not neglect your research until it becomes clear to you from researching the gossip that you have received from us in others and from others in us. You should neglect your research until it becomes clear to you who is addressing you seriously and who is addressing you jokingly, and it will appear to you who is truthful, who is lying, and who is good and who is righteous. But if they leave you like this, you will not stop talking about the ugly and the good. And know that Ham Belaid’s agreement with Hamani Idris and his brother-in-law Al-Rafass occurred on our cows and sheep, and they agreed with Sheikh Al-Thami Skhiri, and they are the ones who started to make this slander and tell us what did not come from us and we do not accept it, until we became absurd. And they took this of our goods as slaves, and your words became impossible for them, and falsehood takes precedence over truth, and the matter continues to become clear to you and you realize who seeks corruption and deprivation of people’s money, and who seeks righteousness.
