Praise be to God alone And may God’s prayers be upon our Master Muhammad and the family of our Master Pasha Al-Asaad, the jurist, Sidi Idris Al-Sarraj. May God grant you security, peace, and may God have mercy on you with the presence of our Lord, may God support him and grant him victory. After that, sir, let it be generous in your knowledge that the sheep of the people of Sidi Abdullah Al-Khayyat, as much as three-hundred and eighty-two of them were hungry, and their owners acquired it yesterday, and when they acquired it, I consulted about it with the jurist, Sidi Muhammad Al-Saffar, and he told me to sit there until I see The news of them reached our master, may God grant him victory. When the news reached our master, he said to the jurist, “Tell them to complete their spoils until they do not have a single head left.” When the jurist came out and addressed their handler until he appeared before him, he told him the words of our master, may God help him, so he asked him to postpone the next Thursday. Our master said that the people of Sidi Abdullah Al-Khayyat swear on what was lost to them, and every time they swore to him, they would be arrested, and Al-Mutairi asked for their horse that they had, so the jurist said to him, “so that you will not have anything left.” And then they will bring it to you. As for the meeting between the Zarahna with Bani Mutair and Majat, they all attended the day before yesterday, in the hands of the jurist, and he asked the Zarhanah about their words, so they told him what they had said. He took out the reins that he had and read it to the Bani Mutair and said to them, “What do you say?” They denied the plural of that, so he said to the Zarahna, “You must prove this.” They said to him: “Is the Zarhanah someone who blocks the road and steals? Is he teaching them to be unruly? This is something that is not possible.” The jurist said to the Bani Mutair, so they crowded the name. Bring your belongings. I sent the Zarahnis to their gatherings at night. We will find out whether they will admit or deny until we inform you. I returned the news to the jurist and told him to reserve this matter for us until the Eid comes and the eyes of the Zharahnis will meet and meet. And when you meet, they will have your matter and your opinion. As for the leaders of Sgroshen, they complained yesterday, and the jurist said, “How is this invitation?” So I told him, “What the Zarahnis had, they gave it to them, and what was left for them they collected.” Ayat Hussein was with them, and they said to them: We are the possessions of what we have received. The trustworthy one is with you, and you are speaking to us, and here we are, informing us of everything. Your vision is broader. Peace be upon you. On the 24th of Qa’dah al-Haram in the year 12814, your servant Hajj Belkacem, may God grant him success.
