Praise be to God alone And may God’s blessings be upon our Master and Lord Muhammad and his companions, the most happy leader, the most glorious knight, Sidi Idris. May the peace and mercy of God be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And then, be generous in your knowledge that our cousin Al-Jilani, the bearer of the book, came complaining to the son of Hajj Bouazza, my master Abu Bouazza bin Hajj Al-Tayeb, about a horse they had on it, and he went to search for it until he reached the Zammour tribe, and he presented it to us with a hundred mithqals and searched for it. The aforementioned price until he paid it and accompanied him and traveled, and then, behold, it was about and the two who were heading towards him confronted him and arrested him and took his aforementioned dirhams and put his hand behind him and bound him with a rope and took him to the Idrisiya Zawiya as if he had killed a soul for them until he put it in the Zawiya prison in the face of injustice. When they got the news, there was awe in the madshar and he wanted the great ruler to fall, so I said to my brothers, “Sit when he limits you, for God will bestow blessing on the worker and whoever among you does not sit.” We will take him to the corner and now put our brother in God’s care and yours. By God, if we do not succeed, these accused will be judged, but secretly, and as he spends the night on this horse, God willing, because the fighting occurred between my brothers and the brothers of Al-Makki bin Idris. But praise be to God for making you a medicine for the Muslims, removing the oppressor from the oppressed. And here is my cousin, the one who brought the call, and he continued to tell you what happened to him verbally and with the love of our master on the 13th of Jumada al-Awwal in the year 1289 Sheikh Al-Tayeb bin Ibrahim Al-Qula’i agreed to everyone to his satisfaction
