Inscription: "Bismillāh al-Raḥmān al-Raḥīm. al-Ḥamdu li-man huwa walī al-tawfīq wa-mulhim al-ṣawāb wa-musahhil al-umūr al-ṣaʻbah wa-mufattiḥ al-abwāb ..." Introduction: "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Him who is the guardian of success, the filler of rewards, the facilitator of difficult affairs, and the opener of doors..." Fair naskhī, in red and black. Extensive interlinear and marginal notations. Islamic binding, paper cover, with flap. Colophon: "Tammat hadhihi al-ḥāshiyah fī thāmin ʻishrīn min Shaʻbān al-muʻaẓẓam, sanat thalāth wa-sittīn wa-tisʻimiʼah, wa-anā al-faqīr Muḥammad al-ḥaqīr al-shahīr bi-Ibn ʻAbd al-Karīm ..."
