Title, as above, appears in the colophon. For the author see Brockelmann, S II, p. 307; for the matn cf. Berlin catalog 4548. Incipit: "Bismillāh al-Raḥmān al-Raḥīm. al-Ḥamdu li-man huwa walī al-tawfīq wa-mulhim al-ṣawāb wa-musahhil al-umūr al-ṣaʻbah wa-mufattiḥ al-abwāb ..." البداية: "بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم. الحمد لمن هو ولي التوفيق وملهم الصواب ومسهّل الأمور الصعبة ومفتّح الأبواب ..." Fair naskhī, in red and black. Extensive interlinear and marginal notations. Islamic binding, paper covered, with flap. Colophon: "Tammat hādhihi al-ḥāshiyah fī thāmin ʻishrīn min Shaʻbān al-muʻaẓẓam, sanat thalāth wa-sittīn wa-tisʻimiʼah, wa-anā al-faqīr Muḥammad al-ḥaqīr al-shahīr bi-Ibn ʻAbd al-Karīm ..." الخاتمة: "تمت هذه الحاشية في ثامن عشرين من شعبان المعظم، سنة ثلاث وستين وتسعمائة، وأنا الفقير محمد الحقير الشهير بابن عبد الكريم ..."
