Notes
Title supplied by a modern hand on a laid-in note. The colophon on leaf 281 recto is the original one (mentioned in the Bankipore catalogue, IX, p. 46), and the wording "katabahu muʼallifuhu" at the foot of the page evidently does not refer to this manuscript. The copy seems to have been made not far from the author's time. Old (14th century?) cursive naskhī, in red and black. Laid-in leaves. Text in Arabic and Persian.

Arabic-Persian dictionary, extracted from the Arabic dictionary, entitled al-Ṣiḥāḥ, of Ismāʻīl al-Jawharī. The work ends on leaf 281 recto, and is followed by poems, etc. (leaves 281 verso-282 recto), and a supplement by the same al-Qurashī, comprising a glossary of Persian loanwords in Arabic (leaves 286 verso-289 recto), an essay on the Arabic dual and plural (leaves 289 recto-292 recto), and a dictionary of names of angels and Biblical and historical persons (leaves 292 recto-342). Incomplete at beginning and at end. Followed by 1 leaf of notes.
