Am lakum sulṭānun mubīn. Faʼtū bi-kitābikum in kuntum ṣādiqīn. Wa-jaʻalū baynahu wa-bayna al-jinnati nasaban wa-laqad ʻalimati al-jinnatu innahum la-muḥḍarūn ..." البداية مفقودة. يبدأ النص بالآية 155 من سورة الصافات (رقم 37)، كما يلي: "... أفلا تذكرون. أم لكم سلطانٌ مبين. فأتوا بكتابكم إن كنتم صادقين. وجعلوا بينه وبين الجنّة نسبًا ولقد علمت الجنّة إنّهم لمحضرون ..." Secundo folio is illegible. 25.5 x 32.5 cm; written surface: 18 x 28 cm; 16 lines per page. Binding: Cover missing; remnants of dark brown leather on spine. The verses of the Qurʼān are written in large bold calligraphic naskh script; the interlinear Persian translation and commentary is in large good naskh script, in black ink, on cream color paper; titles of the sūrahs in red; few notes on the margins; several laid in cards and slips of paper. Colophon: No colophon. Text ends with the commentary on Sūrat al-Fatḥ (Chapter 48). In Arabic and Persian. Forms part of the Hartford Seminary Collection.
