The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God, and prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets (...) As for what follows, this is a collection of the answers of our Sheikh, the Imam (...) the judge of judges and the Mufti of Islam, Abu Mahdi Issa bin Abdul Rahman Al-Ragraki. Originally, God restored his shrine and made him dwell in spacious Paradise. I recorded it from his blessed handwriting after I consulted him, may God have mercy on him, while he was still alive, to collect it. He gave me permission to do so and ordered me to do so, so I continued to ask for it in the hands of the people. By copying and restricting, and I used my effort to request and search for it to the utmost of my ability, and when he saw in me the seriousness in requesting and caring about it, he began, may God have mercy on him, preparing me for the fatwas he responded to and dictating the answer, so I wrote it with my own hand and he printed it, and we took copies from that under his hand. He continued to guide me to the benefits and retract extras of directing the sayings and their structure, out of his concern for the spread of knowledge and benefiting from it, until I got my hands on restricting that. Ample sentence.
The end of the manuscript: Al-Qarafi said in Al-Dhakhira, the author of Al-Qabas said, “Forbidden women are forty women and twenty-four for life” (...) He added in the apostate and non-scriptural jewels and (...) himself or her being his mistress or the mother of his master, and we agreed with the imams in what was mentioned of lineage, breastfeeding, and son-in-law, and Ibn Hanbal added the adulteress until she repents, according to the apparent meaning of the verse. It ended with its wording and was completed on Tuesday, corresponding to the thirteenth of Safar al-Khair in the year 1256, at the hands of its writer (...) continuing on the beginning by his sheikh and chain of transmission, Abu Hafs, Al-Sayyid Omar bin Muhammad Al-Bakari Al-Saadouni. May God benefit us with the original and the descendants, Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Abdullah Bani Omar Ba'akrir Al-Sijtani (...) Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.
