The present copy was completed on 18 Shawwāl 1061/4 October 1651 by Ghiyāth al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan Bīk Munajjim, 'the astronomer' (غياث الدين محمد بن حسن بيك منجم, see

Chapter One: Introduction and principles (المقالة الأولى في المدخل والأصول, ff. 14v-18v);
Chapter Two: Judgement on world affairs (المقالة الثانية في الحكم على أمور العالم, ff. 18v-24v);
Chapter Three: Judgment on nativities and the revolution of their years (المقالة الثالثة في الحكم على المواليد وتحويل سنينها, ff. 24v-31r);
Chapter Four: Making elections [of propitious moments] (المقالة الرابعة في عمل الاختيارات, ff. 31r-32v).

الحمد لله رب العالمين الصلوة على نبيه وآله أجمعين أما بعد الكيا الجليل أبو الحسن كوشيار بن لبان بن
باشهري بن الجيلي إني جمعت في هذا الكتاب من أصول صناعة الأحكام وجملها والطريق إلى التصرف فيها واستعمالها ما ظننته
كافيا في معناها مغنيا في أكثر الأمر...
