This short work discusses the great masters and 'schools' (مذهب) of archery, on the authority of Abū Muḥammad ʻAbd al-Raḥmān Aḥmad al-Ṭabarī (أبو محمد عبد الرحمن أحمد الطبري, ca. 9th century), author of the oldest surviving comprehensive archery treatise and himself founder of the 'eclectic school' (مذهب الاختيار; see al-Sarraf, Shihab, 'Mamluk Furūsīyah Literature and Its Antecedents',
Mamluk Studies Review
,8/1 (2004), pp. 141-200, especially pp. 163-66).
Begins (f. 279r, lines 15-18):

وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد وآله وصحبه وسلم
Ends (f. 293v, lines 12-15):

البغدادي بأنه كان خبير بعلم الرمي ووقف على هذا الكتاب وصح

أستاذ أو رامي أو متعلم عن شيء من علم الرمي إلا وعرفه رحمه الله
