رسالة كتبت في الأوقات الصعبة إلى أبي الحسن سرور ب. حاييم ب. صبري من صهره مبارك ب. إسحاق. ويذكر أعمال النهب في المحلة (يتمنى الكاتب أن يكون أبو الخير مبارك آمنًا)، والوباء في الفسطاط، وأن الكاتب نفسه قد تعرض للسرقة. ويذكر أيضًا ابن ناحوم المرنم. من المحتمل أنه كتب في ستينيات القرن العاشر.
