Ms. codex.Title from fol. 4a.19 lines per page. Written in a small naskh in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Text is written within a frame outlined in one line of red ink, with verses within the text also separated inside the frame. No catchwords. Glazed European paper. Fol. 3a-3b have a table of contents, and dates for the author added later in red ink. Title on fol. 4a in red ink. Fol. 4a and fol. 188b each have a couplet of poetry in a later hand.Explicit: خط فرمانك اولب طغراي منشورقضا قدرك احكامينه اورسون هر كن امضاسن قدرIncipit: هذا كتابنا ينطق عليكم بالحق انا كنا نستنسخ ما كنتم تعلمون اجناس سپاس خورشيد اقتباس - Dark green leather with wide grain. Gold tooled flower roll around the borders of covers. Central gold stamp (tuǧra) on upper and lower covers. Endleaves in brown and purple marbled paper. Title on the lower edge of text block: "Şerefü'l-insan-i Lamiî". Some water damage to the paper and some worm damage close to the spine throughout. Fol. 177-182 are loose. - A loose translation of the 21st Risālah of Rasāʾil Ikhwān al-Ṣafāʾ.
