Ms. codex.Title supplied by the cataloger.Layout: ca. 15 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red.Description: Written in a casual hand, in informal ruqʻah in black ink ; wove, frame ruled paper, with embossed stamp: "Eser-i Cedid-i Ahd-i Hümayun" occasionally visible.Incipit: آ با تا جا خا ذا را زا سا لا ما وا ها يا ابا جباExplicit: شوى طوى قوى كوى موى بوى صوى طوى كوى قوى - Cream paper over pasteboard, covering the original half leather binding (partially visible on the lower cover) in pink glossy paper embossed in foliage pattern on covers and burgundy leather on spine and corners of covers. Endleaves in blue glossy paper embossed in foliage pattern. - A personal exercise book, with words arranged according to their form and grouped by the last letter, starting with the words ending with "alif", "bā" etc. It is technically Ottoman, since it contains some Ottoman/Persian words, but most words are Arabic and arranged according to the Arabic form of the maṣdar plus the final letter of the root.
