The painting illustrates Chapter 5, Tale XX. | Part of a set of eight pages from a Gulistan of Sa'di ca. 1595 held by the Cincinnati Art Museum. Cincinnati's eight pages were painted by eight different court artists, each known from his work in other manuscripts commissioned by Akbar. Their names were added to the lower margins by a court librarian.
