Notlar Samuel Hennell informs James McAlister that he is expecting the arrival from Congoon [Kangān] of part of the crew of a boat that was plundered by the [people of the] Sheik of Nabend. Hennell requests that, in the event of the crew arriving during his absence, McAlister have their evidence taken down in both Persian and English. Hennell writes that as the Sheik of Nabend denies that his people committed this piracy, it is desirable to have a full and sufficient testimony. | 1 folio | more | less
