This treatise presents various grammatical rules (qawanin) for students of morphology (ʿilm al-sarf) in poetic Persian form. It covers topics such as the rules regarding hamzah wasli and qatʿi, the issue of original and additional letters (harf asl wa-zaʾid) in the style of a mathnawi, discussions on alif maqsurah and mamdudah, rules of diminutive forms (tasghir), the laws of imalah (mithal), the meeting of two consonants (iltiqaʾ sakanayn), the rules regarding hollow verbs (ajwaf), and others.
