A history of the Ghaznavid ruler Yamīn al-Dawlah Maḥmūd ibn Subaktakīn, 971-1030 (hence the title of the work) and his father Nāṣir al-Dawlah Sabuktakīn (died 997) who ruled in parts of Iran, Afghanistan and Punjab; incomplete at the beginning. Front cover detached.
Modern half leather with marbled paper boards. Label on front cover reads "Tārīkh-i yamīnī-i ʻUtbī. "
