Fiziksel açıklama
Tapestry woven roundel in undyed linen and brown-coloured wool, probably originally from a tunic. The pattern is a geometric ornament of two squares twisting into each other to form an eight-pointed star. In the centre of this is a repeat lozenge pattern. The corners of the roundel are filled with circles. The roundel is bordered by a scrolling wave pattern. Details are picked out in undyed linen, in flying thread brocading. The linen and wool threads are quite thin and the tapestry work finely done. Tapesty weave: Linen warp (S-spun, 24/cm) Wool weft (Z-spun) Linen weft (S-spun) 12 ribs per cm
