Fragment, most likely cut from the clavus from the corner of a tunic, in plain woven undyed linen with a band of tapestry woven brown-dyed wool and undyed linen. The slit-tapestry woven design consists of a series of nine roundels, each containing a floral or animal motif. Each roundel is enclosed by a plain border, with a trefoil leaf at each corner; the borders of the roundels are joined by pairs of parallel lines. The roundels are enclosed within a pair of double-line borders, decorated with inverse scalloping with false hatching.
