resist printed, block printed, plain weave, cotton, probably machine woven. A repeating pattern of alternate red and white diagonal stripes. [1] white ground with continuous flowering stem in green, red and black. [2] red ground with [a] isolated blue rosettes joined by a small green leaf form and [b] isolated blue rosettes.
