A band of woven silk in light blue/purple and buff/cream. Possibly Egyptian or Near Eastern, ca. AD600-900. Torn half way down. The piece is bordered on both sides with geometric design. There are three large icons running down the piece. They are separated with two solid lines. They are geometric, stylised tree or floral like designs. There is some staining.
