Fiziksel açıklama WARP: light brown wool; Z2S; 17 threads per inch (67 per dm) WEFT: light brown wool; Z2S; 2 or 3 shoots after each row of knots; 7 - 9 knots per inch (26-33 per dm). PILE: wool; 10 colours: dark red, red, yellow, light yellow, green, dark blue, blue, dark purple (faded), black, white; symmetrical knot tied around 2 warp threads; 68 knots (average) per sq. inch (1005 average per sq. dm). SIDE FINISH: 3 cords overcast mainly in red wool. END FINISH: Lower 1.5 cm. plain weave with light brown wool weft. Three bands of knots; warp threads from each pair of knots are twisted and then knotted at the bottom to form a fringe 18 cm. long (maximum). Upper: as lower. DESIGN: Field: white ground with 3 rows of 6 'memling' like guls, each containing horned diamonds. 2 vertical, hooked lines of small coloured blocks rise between the rows of guls and expand into 5 diamonds, 2 with concentric filling and 3 with a chequerboard pattern. As the upper and lower edge is a band of small diamonds more of which are scattered across the field. Main border: yellow ground with rectangles containing a diamond, brocketted. A small diamond separates the motifs along the lower and upper borders. Catalogue date: 4.06.97
