Fiziksel açıklama
Eleven fragments of checked red, blue and beige silk. The differing sizes of checks show that these fragments originally came from two distinct textiles or groups of (seven from a group with larger checks, four from a group with smaller). Those with the smaller checks are more finely woven. Larger pattern group: Z-spun silk (warp approx. 16-18 threads pcm, weft approx. 16-18 threads pcm). Smaller pattern group: Z-spun silk (warp approx. 25 threads pcm, weft approx. 25 threads pcm).
