Fiziksel açıklama Carpet of woollen pile in white, black, orange, yellow, light green, dark blue, blue and purple. The field is decorated with horizontal and vertical pairs of curled horns typical of the perpedil pattern on a dark blue ground. Along the central row are 2 octagons containing hooked, angular decoration and 2 small sprigs, each with 3 flowerheads and there are 2 ragged green blossoms with a central blue and faded purple star on a white lozenge. Each octagon and each ragged blossom have pairs of white birds, mostly inward facing, placed at their four corners. The most central pair, however, face outwards. The 2 outer rows of vertically placed horns have between them purple flanged lozenges. The field has many small yellow, orange and purple rosettes scattered across it, with horizontal S-motifs and very small quartered guls. Main border: white ground with serrated blossoms joined by 2 angular stems. Inner border: purple ground with blue and yellow twisted ribbon design. Outer border: as inner but blue ground and white and purple ribbon.. WARP: white and brown wool plied together; Z3S; 2 white and 1 brown; 20 threads to the inch (80 per dm). WEFT: white cotton; Z3S; 2 shoots after each row of knots; 16 knots to the inch (60 per dm). PILE: Wool; 8 colours: orange, yellow, light green, dark blue, blue, purple (faded), black, white; symmetrical knot tied around 2 warps; 160 knots to the inch (2400 per dem). SIDE FINISH: one cord over sewn with white cotton. END FINISH: Lower incomplete with max. 1 cm. remaining of plain weave with white cotton and evidence of a fringe max. 4 cms. with at least 2 rows of off-set knotting. Upper: 1 cm. remaining of plain weave with white cotton; evidence of a fringe max. 2.5 cm. with at least 2 rows of off-set knotting.
