Fragment, one of two, from the handle of a large water jar, unglazed fine white earthenware; one decorated with hand-coiled or possibly piped or slip-trailed clay (barbotine) loop and three balls applied to form a linked chain between incised line bands framing a cross-hatched border; and the other with a band of coiled scrolls interspersed with dots, edged with line bands of hand-coiled clay or piped.
