Fiziksel açıklama storage bag and panel WARP: white cotton and camel hair(?) and light brown wool twisted together; Z3S; (check); cotton, (1 cotton and 2 hair or wool plied); 18 threads per inch (70 per dm). WEFT: Foundation: white cotton, Z2S; one shoot after each pattern weft; 18 weft threads per inch (70 per dm). Pattern: wool; Z2S; 9 colours: red, yellow, dark blue, blue, light blue, pink, dark brown, black, cream; Sequence; over 3 warp threads and back behind 2. SIDE FINISH: returned wefts. END FINISH: Lower: cut. Upper: cut after 2 cms. of plain weave, with dark brown weft. DESIGN: there are seven bands of geometric design. The central, deep band has one complete band and two half bands of hooked diamonds within a siz -sided yellow lattice and containing a quartered diamond; bands 1,3, 5 and 7 have a yellow ground with red and blue S-shapes; bands 2 and 6 have a cream ground with a repeated angular motif from a central stem and all infilled with small crosses. All are separated by thin bands of solid colour or by bands of dots. Catalogue Date: 27.3.91.
