Notlar The decoration on this jar combines elements borrowed from Chinese blue and white export porcelain dating from around 1630-40, a period known as the "Transitional period" in recognition of the volatile period of transition from the Ming to the Qing dynasty when production was disrupted by politics, with traditional Islamic arabesque motifs found in bookbinding, manuscripts and textiles. The distinction is emphasised by the use of red and green slip.

Fiziksel açıklama Jar, fritware, of high shouldered baluster shape, line bands and the foot with triglyph repeats with four vertical bands of flowering lotus stems and flame-like leaves alternating painted in underglaze cobalt blue with broad panels of symetrically arranged foliage in green slip with scattered flowerheads in red slip. Imitation Chinese "tassel" mark in blue. The mouth is mounted with chased brass of later date.
