Fiziksel açıklama WARP: white wool: Z3S; 17 threads per inch (65 per dm). WEFT: white wool; Z2S, 2 shoots after each row of knots; 10 knots per inch (39 per dm). PILE: wool; 9 colours: red, yellow , light yellow, green, blue, pink, dark brown, brown, white (and probably other colours eg.g. purple? faded to beige); symmetrical knot tied around 2 warp threads; 85 knots per sq. inch (1268 per sq. dm). SIDE FINISH: a web of 3 cords (increased to 4 cords after 23 cms. overcast with light brown wool. END FINISH: Lower: immediately below the pile is 1 cm. of countered soumak in the same wool as the side finish adn then an incomplete fringe of 4 rows maximum of knots, 7 cms. inclusive of length. Upper: as above but fringe has a maximum of 3 rows of knots. DESIGN: Field: blue ground with yellow and red lattice enclosing in each complete lozenge. 4 small yellow rosettes. Borders from the inside: a) dark brown ground filled with white octagons each containing a flower head 2) red and yellow 'zeichur' pattern with colour change to green and white in lower border 3) blue and white 'zeichur' pattern 4) yellow and red 'zeichur' pattern catalogue date. 27.05.97
