Fiziksel açıklama
Fragment from a cloth, possibly a tunic, tapestry woven in purple, green and red wools over undyed linen warps. The tapestry panel has been cut and applied to another, plain woven linen cloth. The tapestry panel depicts a vine emerging from a two handled vase; inside the vine are various animals (a lion, gazelle, hare, boar and birds), and at the centre a naked human figure. The majority of the design is in purple, but the tongues of the animals have been woven in red; some of the leaves in green; and the fruits have been woven in a mixture of red and purple. Details of the vase and figures have been picked out with undyed linen, using a flying shuttle.
