Fiziksel açıklama Bag face WARP: cream wool; Z2S; 19 threads per inch (70 per dm). WEFT: cream wool; Z spun, unplied; 2 parallel threads per shoot, 1 shoot after each row of knots; 13 knots per inch (60 per dm). PILE: wool; 8 colours: red, orange, yellow, dark green, dark blue, dark brown, white; asymmetrical knot open to the left and tied around 2 threads; 123 knots per sq. inch (2100 per sq. dm). SIDE FINISH: one cord oversewn with blue wool. END FINISH: Lower: 2 cms plain weave with 4 rows of red weft; turned under and stitched in place. Upper: cut and subsequently bound with cotton cord. DESIGN: described as in use: field: red ground with six flowers on leafed stems. Side and upper borders: small, white and brown double rams horsn. Apron: incomplete: looks like bands of nine off-set stylised flowers. Catalogue date: 22.6.94
Üretim The Anglo-Persian Carpet Co., S. Kensington. Purchased as one of seven pieces for a total of £3 "knotted pile wall bag; Ersari" (1925) This is one of "7 interesting little pieces of Turcoman carpet-knotting, good in design, colour and technique"…. And one of four "tent-bags unlike any others in the Museum… the price for the seven pieces… is nominal". Mentioned in "Turkoman Rugs in the V & A", by M. Franses and R. Pinner (intro. by Donald King). Analysis by L. Pinner.
