Fiziksel açıklama WARP: cream wool; Z3S; 14 threads per inch (60 per dm). WEFT: foundation: white cotton; Z2S; one shoot after each pattern weft; 22 weft threads per inch (90 per dm). Pattern: wool and cotton; wool Z2S; cotton, Z3S;, red and black wool; 9 colours: red, yellow, green, light green, dark blue, blue, light purple, black, white cotton. Sequence:over two warp threads and back behind it. SIDE FINISH: returned wefts. END FINISH: Lower: cut. There is evidence that goat hair cord has been used to assemble the bag. NB: lower left-hand corner where it attaches the piece of cream and pale blue knitted fabric (stocking stitch). Upper: cut after 2.5 cm. of plainweave with black weft. Large stitches in goat hair. DESIGN: there are seven bands of geometric design. The central, deep band has a cream ground with interlinked, eight-sided guls; bands 2 and 6 each have one band and two half bands of hooked diamonds; bands 1, 3, 5 and 7 have the same reciprocal design with colour variation. All bands are separated by thin bands of solid colour and the minor ones by thin bands of dual colour blocks; the central band is framed by a thin line of reciprocal triangles.
