Fiziksel açıklama
Fragment from either a tunic or furnishing fabric, in plain woven undyed linen, with decoration in the form of a tapestry woven panel in purple and orange-yellow wools and undyed linen. The panel is in the shape of a roundel with concentric bands of interlace and geometric design, with a lozenge containing a quatrefoil at the centre, in purple wool with details picked out in undyed linen. Circles of orange-yellow wool are placed at points around the outermost band of design, and form a pearled ring toward the centre, in imitation of either gold thread or jewels. A vine motif, terminating in a leaf, extends from either end of the roundel.
