Fiziksel açıklama
A square tapestry woven panel in brown wool and undyled inen, possibly cut from a linen tunic. Small areas of the plain woven linen groundweave remain. On both length sides of the panel are selvedges. The tapestry woven decoration consists of an outer border, within which is a roundel, with stylised vine leaves in each spandrel. The roundel encloses a mounted huntsman with arms raised, above a collared dog, and surroudned by stylised plant designs. Details have been picked out in flying thread brocading in undyed linen. Tapestry weave: Linen warp (S-spun, approx. 10/cm) Wool weft (Z-spun, approx. 27/cm) Linen weft (S-spn)
