Cilt düz koyu mavi deriden olup, ortasında bir madalyon ve iki pandantif vardır ve kenarlarda 372 x 225 x 70 boyutunda işlenmiş bir kenar boşluğu vardır. Sırtı düzdür. Dublörler düz sarımsı kağıttan yapılmıştır. Kağıt oldukça kalın, grenli, safsızlıklar içeriyor, bej renginde ve üst kısmında bazı su renk değişimleri var.Fol. 1r'de 1231 (H.) tarihini taşıyan bir yazıt bulunmaktadır. Şiir fol'da başlıyor. 1v dekoratif unvan altında, 128 x 150 mm. Kenar boşlukları kırmızı, boşluk, mavi, boşluk, maviyle çizilmiştir; sütunlar 2 tek mavi çizgidir; dereceli puanlama anahtarı kutuları da tek bir mavi çizgidir. Değerlendirme listeleri domates kırmızısı nasta'lik ile yazılmıştır. Metne, bazen kelimeleri açıklayan çok sayıda kenar notu ve yorum eşlik etmektedir. Sloganlar yerli yerinde. Hat sanatı bir bütün olarak düzgün ve nettir. Metin, Luhrasp (f. 231v) döneminde iki kitaba ayrılmıştır. 'İkinci kitabın' başında bir unvan için kalan alan kullanılmıyor. 'Birinci kitap' f'de bitiyor. 230r ve ff. 230v-231r boş bırakılmıştır. Metin sonunda kopuyor (gerçi görünüşe göre Şahname'nin sonundan sonra: Açık: chu az mustafa man hikayat kunam // chu Mahmud .. (Muhammed?) .. ra himayat kunam, "chu sultan..." sloganıyla. Ancak sonraki sayfa (508r) boş bırakılmıştır. MS'de en az iki sayfa daha eksik. Mohl'un kitabından yaklaşık 168 ayet Bizhan ve Manizha hikayesinde 187. ve 188. sayfalar arasında metin eksik; bu, iki yapraktan birinin bir tablo içerdiğini gösteriyor; bunun da kontrol edilmesi gerekiyor. Resimlerin kendisi iyi işlenmiş ve bazı güzel resim pasajları ile birlikte oldukça çekici. Rüstem'in kahramanlıkları: ölümünden sonra sadece üç resim daha kaldı: Ardashir'in iki resmi ve Bahram Gur'un. Bazı resimlerin önünde chalipa (çapraz) yazıyla pasajlar yer alıyor.
