, Bahrain for: approval of their plans to travel to Saudi Arabia; provision of letters of introduction; help in obtaining permission from the ruler or other relevant Arab authorities in the Kingdom of Nejd and Hejaz.
The file also contains Government of India correspondence about the need to obtain approval from the Hedjaz Government, before granting a Pilgrim Pass to a British Indian subject living in the Punjab, who had converted to Islam and wanted to visit Mecca and Medina.
There are several letters and messages in Arabic, mainly in connection with a request from exporters The Hills Brothers Company, Basra to visit date plantations in Hofuf.
