The file contains correspondence between the Shaikh of Masirah, Khamis bin Hilal Al-Maj‘ali and Sayyid Shihab bin Faysal Al-Bu Sa‘idi regarding the objection of some locals to the erection of the Royal Air Force (RAF) store at Masirah Island. The majority of the correspondence in the file is related to the request of the firm of Khimji Ramdas for the settlement of their claim for $170 against the Royal Air Force on account of the pay of boatmen at the landing ground at Masirah.
