In the introduction (fol. 1b-2a), the author states that the text consists of three maqṣid (ṭahārat, ṣalāh, ṣawm), but maqṣid 4 on ḥajj begins on fol. 99b, and fol. 87 discusses khums. This does not completely match with the description given by Āghā Buzurg (XXI, 112), who describes five maṭlab covering ṭahārah, ṣalāh, ṣawm, zakāh, and khums. However, the incipits, authors, and descriptions are otherwise identical.
