In the introduction (fol. 1b-2a), the author states that the text consists of three maqṣid (ṭahārat, ṣalāh, ṣawm), but maqṣid 4 on ḥajj begins on fol. 99b, and fol. 87 discusses khums. This does not completely match with the description given by Āghā Buzurg (XXI, 112), who describes five maṭlab covering ṭahārah, ṣalāh, ṣawm, zakāh, and khums. However, the incipits, authors, and descriptions are otherwise identical.
Kaynak Owner's note and stamp on fol. 1a dated Rajab 1314 H. [December 1896].
