Ms. codex.Title from a note by a modern hand on the first fly-leaf. This title of Nīshābūrī's Sharḥ appears as such in Kashf al-ẓunūn, with a different incipit however. The name of the author appears in a note on the margin of the colophon as "al-Ḥasan ibn Muḥammad al-maʻrūf bi-Niẓām al-Nīshābūrī" (fol. 301a).17 lines per page. Written in black ink with use of red. Contains diagrams. Catchword on the verso of each leaf. Marginal notes. Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals (counting a modern fly-leaf as fol. 1).Copied on 7 Rajab 1017 (colophon, fol. 301a).Incipit: الحمد لله رب العالمين ... قال الحمد لله مفيض الخير ... اقول موضع كل علم ما يبحث فى ذلك العلم عن احوالهExplicit: فان الاعمال بالنيّات وبها تحلب البركات وينال الدرجات والحمد لمبدع الكل والصلوة على الهادى الى اقوم السبل والسلم - Red leather over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers. Blind tooled and gold painted outer frame of fillets and a running chain-pattern. Rebacked. Marbled paper pastedowns. - Commentary on al-Tadhkirah fī ʻilm al-hayʼah by Naṣīr al-Dīn al-Ṭūsī, completed on 1 Rabīʻ al-Awwal 711 (see fol. 301a on the margin and Kashf al-ẓunūn, ed. Fluegel, vol. 2, p. 269). According to this date, this Nīsābūrī can not be from the 15th century.
