In 1747 the manuscript was in the Bibliotheca Palmeriana, the library of Ralph Palmer of Little Chelsea, grandfather of the first Earl Verney (Ownership inscription on front flyleaf: "Bibliotheca Palmeriana, Londini, 1747."), On paper., 11 lines. First opening illuminated in green, pink, blue, silver and gold. Written in red and black ink. Text block double-ruled red with a single outside line of blue. Catchwords in black., 18th-century binding in red morroco with gilt tooling on front and spine and gilt edges. A pair of metal clasps on front and back boards. Gold titling on spine: Koran Arabice
