This volume begins like that described under number 55, but the writing changes on folio 4 verso, while continuing to narrate the history of the prophets prior to Mohammed; the last chapter (folio 241 verso) deals with the meeting of Mohammed with Abu Ǧahl, in the same terms as those of the chapter with which begins, without title, manuscript 104, which is given as the fourth volume of the complete work, from which it seems that the present volume contains an abbreviated review of the version of Aboul-Hasan el-Bekri.
