Title and name of the author on f. 1. Gap between f. 2 and 3. The author's name is Moḥammad al-Mahdawī ibn ʿAlī al-Ṣanawbarī al-Yamanī al-Hindī (or al-Ṣubunrī), of which 'Mahdī al-Ṣayrafī al-Yamanī' in this manuscript could be a distorted reading. The work is often attributed to Ğalāl al-Dīn al-Suyūṭī. Inc. (f. 1v): الحمد لله الذي اخترع من العدم الموجودات (…) كتاب قد وضعته في علم الطب اعراضه Exp. (f. 22): ثم يستعمل ما مزمنة كالجذام فليعارد المسهل كب اسبوع مرة او في الشهر مرتين هذا اخر ما قصدناه ولله الحمد والمنة وحسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل. The 3rd compartment of the first leaf includes a deleted clause in case the book is sold by weight. Framing a red net. The written surface is divided into five bands delimited by red lines (except in f. 13) but these bands have no influence on the arrangement of the lines. Unbound.
