DEROCHE (F.), The Manuscripts of the Koran: from the Maghreb to Insulindia. Paris, 1985, II, type NSd stamped and gilded, black leather pendants stamped with thistle decoration. Spandrels decorated with stamped and gilded clouds. The decorations are bordered with golden flowered fillets. Framing a gilded listel with a pattern of stamped s and two gilt fillets, stamped or gilded rosettes, in groups of three in the middle of each side. On the cover, stamped black leather medallion decorated with clouds; stamped and gilded spandrels, same frame. Part protecting the gutter decorated with a succession of golden cartridges containing a golden leaf motif. Transliteration system used: Arabica, close to standard ISO 233-2: 1993: Information and documentation — Transliteration of Arabic characters into Latin characters — Part 2: Arabic language — Simplified transliteration.
